Murnan Chalmer Ephraim "Breezy" Murnan, 80, or Galt, passed away on November 6, 2005, at home in Galt. He was born on May 2, 1925 in New Castle, Indiana. He resided in Utah and Indiana in his childhood years. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers Local 3 for 45 years, he also performed Salvage Diving in his early years. He served in WWII on Iwo Jima with 845th Ordinance Company. He loved to sail with his family on his sailboat, shooting and camping, traveling aboard, spending time with his granddaughters and family. He loved to ride his Indian motorcycles. He was recently baptized Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Lila Murnan of Galt; sons, Zane Patrick Murnan and wife, Tanya, Daniel E. Murnan and wife, Angel; sister, Marjorie Wallace of Indiana; five granddaughters, Jenny Bartholomew and Amber Murnan both of Utah, Sierra, Savannah and Summer Murnan of Galt; one great granddaughter, Kylec Bartholomew of Utah.
