Valentin D. Macanas 
Dec. 16, 1910 - April 8, 2005



Valentin D. Macanas, 94, a native of the Philippines, passed away Friday, April 
8, 2005 in Stockton. Mr. Macanas was employed by California State University 
Sacramento for 15 years. He was a member and head deacon of Iglesia Ni Cristo 
and a member of Legionario del Trabajo.
He was the loving husband of Cora Macanas and the father of Jim Macanas and his 
wife, John Macanas and his wife, Sandy and Arnel Macanas and his wife, Jerylyn, 
all of Stockton. He is also survived by his niece, Jan Pacheco and her husband, 
Cezar and their daughter, Sheila, all of Fremont and his grandhcildren, 
Valerie, Joelle, Dennis, Kim, Jay, Justine, Mariah, Ruben, Nicole and Vanessa.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, April 15, 
2005 at 10:00 a.m. at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton, 
CA, with visitation Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, 9:00 
a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
