Jessie McCall 
Jessie K. McCall, 79, of Herald, died April 17 in Galt following a brief 
illness. She was born Jessie K. Kahley on Aug. 1, 1925, in Phoenix, Ariz.

Mrs. McCall was a resident of Herald since 1964. She worked as a finger print 
analyst with the Department of Justice until her retirement. She enjoyed 
knitting, sewing, computers, and spending time with her dog, P.C. 

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Mac McCall; son, Jeffrey McCall, of 
Hawaii; daughter, Jessica Mayers, of Sacramento; and one grandchild.

A chapel service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ben Salas Funeral Home, 149 
4th Street, Galt. Committal will be private.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
