Helen A. McLaughlin 
Aug. 8, 1917 - March 8, 2005



Helen Amelia McLaughlin, 87, passed away in Stockton on Tuesday, March 8, 2005. 
She was born in East-hampton, Massachusetts on August 4, 1917. She moved from 
the east coast when she got married and settled in Stockton. Helen loved 
spending time with family and specifically, helping family and friends whenever 
possible. She loved attending many dance recitals, plays and volleyball games 
of her grandchildren. She worked many years as a hairdresser. Helen liked going 
to Lake Tahoe and playing bingo. She loved working in her yard with her flowers.
Her husband, Roy Neil McLaughlin preceded her in death. She loved spending time 
with her daughters, Nancy Ring (Dennis) and Judy Sordello (Alan) of Stockton. 
She was the cherished grandmother of Christopher Ring, Gregory Ring, Alyssa 
Ring, Kimberly Sordello, Stephanie Sordello and Alana Sordello. Dear sister of 
Stella Reagan and Walter Niemiec of Easthampton, MA. 
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, 
March 11, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Annunciation, Rose and Van 
Buren Streets, Stockton, CA. Visitation will be held at DeYoung Memorial 
Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, on Thursday, 2:00-7:00 p.m. and 
Friday, 8:00-10:30 a.m. Committal at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
