Ted A. Molfino

  Ted A. Molfino, 82 of Lodi, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2005 in a Lodi 
hospital. He was born on August 21, 1922 to Samuel and Edith Molfino in 
Strathmore, California where he was raised on a farm.
  Mr. Molfino served in the U.S. Navy during WWII serving in the Pacific and 
was recalled, serving two years during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Molfino was a 
Submariner and retired as Captain from the reserves. Ted married Colleen Creary 
in Lodi in August of 1948. He worked as a self-employed contractor, Ted A. 
Molfino Builder for over 50 years.
  Mr. Molfino was an active member of the Lodi Rotary Club, Lodi Docent Club 
and California Alumni Association. He enjoyed reading, working and spending 
time with his family. Mr. Molfino was very proud of his Italian heritage in 
Jackson, CA where his family settled. 
  He is survived by his wife of 57 years. Colleen Molfino of Lodi; children, 
Daphne O'Keefe of Charlotte, NC, Geoffrey Molfino of Ninole, Hawaii and Claudia 
Fua of Lakewood, CA; grandsons, Gregory Lind Molfino and Zach and Gavin Fua; 
great granddaughter, Josephine Molfino; sister, Mae Merle Filice of Palo Alto, 
CA.
  Friends are invited for a Memorial service on Tuesday, March 29 in the 
Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home Chapel, 123 North School Street, Lodi at 
10:00 am. Inurnment will be private. 
  Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
