He was born in Stockton, CA to Hugo and Lillian Molini, November 26, 1924. He attended El Dorado Elementary School, Stockton High School, Stockton Junior College and was a graduate of College of the Pacific. He received his Masters Degree from the University of the Pacific. He begun his career in education as a practice teacher at Linden High School in 1949. He became a tenured teacher there, its principal, and then retired as Superintendent of the Linden Unified School District after 30 years as an educator. The lives he enriched as a teacher, friend and mentor, in turn enriched his life throughout his years when he was greeted affectionately by former students with a "Hi, Mo", no matter when, where or how long the intervening years. Jack was a Purple Heart veteran from World War II, serving in the Italian Campaign in the Po Valley with the 91st Infantry Division. Always an active supporter of community affairs, he was Past President of the Linden Lions Club, a member of Linden-Peters Chamber of Commerce, Holy Cross Catholic Church, University of Pacific Half Century Club, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Native Sons of the Golden West, American Legion Ed Stewart Post #803, Disable American Veterans, 91st Infantry Division Association and the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Jack enjoyed fishing and his monthly poker games with "The Unholy Nine". He especially enjoyed his years of interaction and relationship with all of his students. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dolores; his daughter, Lee Ann Molini Kranfinsky (Peter); son, Mark & Julia) and adopted Grandpa of Sarah Glisson. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Vigil Service will be held at Holy Cross Church in Linden at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2005. Visitation: Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Church in Linden at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 23. Committal will follow at Linden Cemetery. It is the fish of his family that contributions in his memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Linden-Peters Fire Dept.
