She was born Sept. 17, 1903, in Oakland. Mrs. Moore graduated from Mills College, and received her teaching credential from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1926. She moved to Lodi that same year, where she was a music and choral studies teacher at Lodi Union High School. In 1928, she married Clifton Moore. Following her retirement, she was the president of the Lodi Womans Club, where she also directed the club's chorale for many years. She was an accomplished violinist and performed with the California Trio in concerts throughout the state and on radio, and was involved with the San Francisco Symphony. She was also a published poet. She enjoyed traveling, and had visited over 40 countries with her husband. She is survived by her daughters, Nini Horn, of Long Beach and Gean Lynch, of Fresno; son, Roger Moore, of Palm Desert; sister, Gean Howard, of Fresno; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Moore in 1993; and daughter, Marey in 1934. Inurnment was held at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland.
