Barbara Neff Passes Away   
  Mrs. Barbara Faszer Neff, 82, 1216 S. School Strees, passes away Saturday 
morning following a short illness. 
  A native of South Russia, Mrs. Neff came to this country in 1892.  In 1937 
she moved to California from North Dakota.
  Mrs. Neff was the widow of the late George Neff, who preceded her in death 
in 1948.  She was the mother of Jacob Faszer, Canada; Charles Faszer, Canada; 
John Faszer, Michigan; Fred Faszer, Lodi;  Mrs. John Hildenbrand, Lodi; Mrs. 
Gottlieb Treichel, Lodi; Mrs. Theobald Aman, Lodi; Mrs. Reuben Liebelt, Lodi; 
Mrs. Mollie Priebe, Lodi.
  In addition, Mrs. Neff was the stepmother of Ted Neff, Watsonville, 
California; Charlie Neff, Edwin Neff, Aaron Neff and Mrs. Katie uer, all of 
McCluskey, N.D.
  Mrs. Neff was the sister of Fred Hildenbrand of Lehr, N.D.  She has 32 
grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
  She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Gustev Rauser officiating.  Internment will be in 
Cherokee Memorial Park with the Lodi Funeral Home incharge.
