Jerry Newton, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the age of 61 in Jackson, 
California. He was born October 1, 1944 to Everett and Betty (Bascom) Newton in 
San Francisco, California. Jerry graduated from Franklin High School, Stockton 
CA in 1962. He was in the United States Navy Reserve. He worked in Road 
Maintenance for San Joaquin County for the last 5 years. He has been a resident 
of Amador County since 1989. Jerry was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, 
hunting and dirt bike riding. He was a lifetime member of the Stockton 
Motorcycle Club. He is survived by his fiancé, Sherie Lampman of West Point; 
daughters, Carrie Thomey of Lake Isabella, Barbara Newton of Stockton, Dawn 
Engelhardt of Stockton; sister, Sharon Brown andGary of Stockton; niece, Lori 
Kirk of Oklahoma City, OK; nephews, Ken Brown of Stockton and Doug Brown of 
Lodi; grandchildren, Cameron Engelhardt and Teresa Castillo. He was preceded in 
death by his son Timothy Newton in 1991.

At the family's request there will be no services. Inurnment will be private. 
Arrangements have been entrusted to Daneri Mortuary in Jackson, Ph: (209) 223-
0793.

of the donor's choice.
