Norman Nakamura 
Norman Kay Nakamura, 49, of Lodi, died July 14 in a Stockton hospital following 
a brief illness. He was born Feb. 7, 1956, in Lodi, where he was raised and 
graduated from Lodi High School in 1974.

Mr. Nakamura was employed by Geweke RV for 30 years. He enjoyed helping family 
and friends and spending time with his nieces and nephews. 

He also enjoyed fishing, camping, swimming, motorcycling, and watching all 
sports on television.

He is survived by his brother, Nelson Nakamura, of Stockton; sisters, Nadine 
Kelly, of Visalia, and Nancy Nakamura, of Lodi.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Amy in 1990; and his father, Harry 
Nakamura in 2004.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Evergreen Chapel at 
Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi. Inurnment will be 
private at Cherokee Memorial Park.

A family memorial registry may be signed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Friday 
at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, near Beckman Road, Lodi. 

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
