Rodrigo Nunez 
Rodrigo Nunez, 50, of Lodi, died July 28 in Sacramento. He was born Oct. 16, 
1954, in the Philippines.

Mr. Nunez moved to the United States in 1972 and settled in the Bay Area. He 
married Eleanor Maghanoy in 1976 and they made moved to Lodi in 1991. 

He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a mail handler for 26 years. He 
was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and 
barbecues with his family. He especially enjoyed working with computers.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Nunez, of Lodi; daughter, Eileen Nunez, of 
Lodi; sons, Rodrigo Rodney Nunez, Jr., of Lodi and Roderick Rodel Nunez, of 
Tracy; sister, Aurora Parungao, of Daly City; brothers, Arturo Nunez, of San 
Mateo, Fredie Nunez, of San Jose, Rizalito Nunez, of San Francisco, Leonil 
Nunez, of Elk Grove and Armenio Nunez, of Union City.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Rodolfo Nunez.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anne's 
Catholic Church. Committal will follow. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. 
Thursday at Lodi Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
today, Wednesday and Thursday.
