John O’Ferrall

Jan 12, 1943 — Jan. 1, 2006

A memorial service will be Monday for John E. O’Ferrall, 62, who died Sunday 
at his home in Livermore.

Mr. O’Ferrall was an avid golfer and a member of Tracy Golf and Country Club. 
A 49ers and Giants fan, he also loved hunting, fishing and carpentry.

Mr. O’Ferrall is survived by his wife of 36 years, Shirley O’Ferrall of 
Livermore; children, Vicki Voegeli of Fremont, John E. O’Ferrall Jr. of 
Livermore and Julie O’Ferrall of Livermore; mother, Eileen O’Ferrall of 
Covelo; siblings, Horse O’Ferrall of Covelo and Bobbi Reboca of Fremont; and 
grandchildren, Ryan Voegeli of Fremont, Theodore J. O’Ferrall of Livermore, 
Katie Voegeli of Fremont and Emily O’Ferrall of Livermore.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ted O’Ferrall, and a sister, Connie 
Reboca.

Monday’s services will begin at 1 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central 
Ave. Interment will be private.

Contributions in Mr. O’Ferrall’s name may be sent to Kaiser Hospice, 200 Muir 
Road, Martinez 94553.
