Frances C. Ormonde 

June 17, 1912 — March 21, 2006

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday for Tracy resident 
Frances C. Ormonde, 93, who died March 21, 2006 at her daughter’s home in 
Brentwood.

Mrs. Ormonde was born in Half Moon Bay. She lived in Hayward 55 years and in 
Tracy six.

Mrs. Ormonde retired from Hudson Lumber in San Leandro in 1976. She will be 
remembered as a generous person and as a strong woman who always put her 
family first.

Mrs. Ormonde is survived by her children, Neil Ormonde, and his wife, Nevada, 
of Idaho, William Ormonde, and his wife, Aletha, of Tracy, and Nathalie Munro 
of Brentwood; sister, Nelda Rinaldo, and her husband, Albert, of Tracy; 
grandchildren, Todd Ormonde of Colorado, Lisa Harris of Oceanside, Jarrod 
Ormonde of Oakley, Jolene Reeves of Nebraska, Shane Munro of Patterson, Lance 
Munro of Pleasanton, and Jon Munro of Brentwood; and 12 great-grandchildren;.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Ormonde.

Tuesday’s Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 
W. Eaton Ave. Visitation will be observed from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday at Fry 
Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., followed by the recital of a rosary at 
7. Interment will be in Tracy Cemetery. 

Contributions in Mrs. Ormonde’s name may be sent to Asera Care Hospice, 1470 
Enea Circle No. 1745, Concord 94520.
