She was born on December 27, 1928, in Tacoma, WA, and was a Stockton resident for 30 years and serving as a manager for See's Candy for 10 years. Dorothy was a devout Christian. Her greatest joy in life was her family and her music. She had the most beautiful voice and sang professionally for many years. She now sings in the heavenly choir praising God for all eternity. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Vestel G. Casedy; her parents, Edwin and Lillian Moe; and her brothers Donald and his wife Shirley and Kenneth Moe. She was the loving mother of Sharon (Mrs. Ken) Buck and John E. Casedy all of Stockton. Loving grandmother of Melissa Wimer, Jonathan and Ashley Casedy and great grandson, Anthony Casedy. Sister of Ruth (Mrs. Thomas) Hazen; sister- in-law, Dorothy (Mrs. Kenn) Moe, and numerous nieces and nephews all of WA. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Max Carroll at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions to the Mediation Center of San Joaquin, 829 Rose Marie Lane, Suite D, Stockton, CA 95207 are preferred.
