Susan Jane Godfrey Cady 
September 12, 1945 - June 30, 2004



Susan Jane Godfrey Cady, 58, died suddenly of a cerebral hemorrhage on 
Wednesday, June 30, 2004 in Berkeley, CA. 
She was the beloved wife of Glenn Cady of Orinda and loving sister of Carol 
Godfrey Evert of Walnut Grove and the late Michael Godfrey. Susan, daughter of 
the late Roy and Edith Godfrey was the dear aunt of Gregory Scanavino of New 
York, Matthew Scanavino of Aptos and Michael Godfrey and Jillian Godfrey of 
Stockton. She was the daughter-in-law of Dr. Gerald Cady and Mrs. Jean Cady of 
San Diego, sister-in-law of Kathianne Godfrey and Monty Evert and niece of 
Dante Nomellini, Anita Sanquinetti, John Nomellini and Sue Giottonini.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will 
be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Annunciation on Wednesday, July 7, 2004 
at 1:00 p.m. There will be no visitation. Committal at San Joaquin Catholic 
Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Susan's name be made 
to Critical Care West Alta Bates Hospital, 2450 Ashby Ave., Berkeley, CA 94705, 
Alzheimers Aid Society of Northern California, 105 S. Washington St., Lodi 
95240, California Transplant Donor Network, 1611 Telegraph Ave. Suite 600, 
Oakland, CA 94612, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2589 Scott Blvd., Santa 
Clara, CA 95050.
DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton in charge of 
arrangements
