Dorothy Saiz 
November 3, 1920 - August 28, 2004



Mrs. Dorothy Saiz of Lodi passed away Saturday, August 28, 2004, in a 
Sacramento hospital at the age of 83. Mrs. Saiz was born November 3, 1920 in 
Cuba, New Mexico to Celestino and Antonia Jacquez. She was a homemaker and a 
member of St. Christopher's Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, crossword 
puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She 
will be dearly missed.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Sharon Williams of San Francisco; Jeanne Martin 
of Pioneer; 1 sister, Angelina Martinez of Sunnyvale; 5 grandchildren, Cindy 
Davenport of Fremont; Tony Martin of Galt,; Scott Sammons of Redwood City; Todd 
Sammons of Stockton, Stephanie Villalpando of Stockton; 11 great grandchildren 
and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband 
Samuel Saiz in 1998, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September 2, 2004, 9:00 a.m. at the St. 
Christopher's Catholic Church, followed by interment at the Cherokee Memorial 
Park Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, 6:00 pm at the Lodi 
Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, 12:00 – 8:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral 
Home.
