John Joseph Lagorio 
March 11, 1917 - September 5, 2004



John Joseph Lagorio, 87, of Lodi passed away Sunday, September 5, 2004, in a 
local hospital. Mr. Lagorio was born in Patterson on March 11, 1917, and has 
lived in Lodi for the past 45 years. He was employed in waste removal in San 
Joaquin county and for David Vacarezza while working in Lodi.
A member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and a 30 year member of the Lodi Moose 
Lodge #634. He served twelve years as a driver for the Pine Manor Guest Home.
Preceded in death by three sisters, Rena Pisacco, Angie Ravo and Mary Schock. 
Also by a brother, Mario Lagorio.
Survived by his wife of 51 years, Clara Lagorio of Lodi. 3 Sons: William 
Lagorio (Annette) of Reno, Joseph Lagorio of Lodi and Michael Lagorio of Lodi. 
Daughter-in-laws: Kathy Lagorio and Cindy Kozlowski. Sister-in-law: June 
Lagorio. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Clayton and Connie Sherwood. 10 
Grandchildren: Robin, Rita, John, Joseph Jr., Joshua, Crystal, Angelina, Randy, 
Jessica and Amanda. 6 Great Granchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. in 
the chapel of Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home with clergy from St. Anne's 
Catholic Church and Lodi Moose Lodge #634 officiating. Committal will follow at 
Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8, 
2004, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 9, 2004, 9:00 a.m. to 
service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart 
Association or the Lodi Moose Lodge #634.
