Ramona Valtierra Morris 

August 31, 1924 - June 26, 2004 

Ramona Valtierra Morris came to Stockton at the age of 12, where she remained 
until passing away in her home surrounded by her loving family. 
She was born on August 31, 1924 in Newman, California and passed away on 
Saturday, June 26, 2004. Ramona worked in the cannery for some years and 
retired from Motel 6 in 1989. Mrs. Morris was a member of the PTA, Mexican 
American Club and a Den Mother for Cub Scouts and she loved music. 
Ramona Valtierra Morris is survived by her loving son and daughters, Robert 
Jess Valtierra of Stockton, Angie Perez of Stockton, Lisa Valtierra, Susan 
Thompson and Sylvia Valtierra; beloved sister of Mary C. Goodloe of Temecula, 
CA, Ignacio C. Martinez and Paublo Vidaure of Stockton; 22 grandchildren and 
numerous nieces and nephews. 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Vigil on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 
at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of 
Christian Burial will be held at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, 1663 E. Main 
St., Stockton, CA on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. Visitation: Monday, 
June 28, 2004 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
at the Mortuary. Committal: Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 5750 E. Pine St., Lodi, CA.
