Mildred L. McGaughey 
Oct. 5, 1924 - Sept. 10, 2004



Mildred L. McGaughey, 79, of Stockton passed away at a local hospital on 
Friday, September 10, 2004. She was born in Bell County, Texas on October 5, 
1924 and raised in Hatch, New Mexico before living in San Joaquin County for 55 
years. Ms. McGaughey was a Federal Employee as a Transportation Clerk for 20 
years. She was preceded in death by brothers, Walter Cooper and Billy Cooper 
and is survived by her children, John McGaughey, Jim McGaughey, Erma Sue Headd, 
Martha McGaughey and Sandra Uribe; stepchildren, Marvin McGaughey and Evelyn 
Hulstine; siblings, Harold Cooper, Bobbie Hamrick and Ken Cooper; 15 
grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren. She was a member of the Lathrop Baptist 
Church and International Toast Mistress Clubs. 
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. 
at Parkview Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp Rd., Manteca. Visitation will be 
Tuesday, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. 
California St., Stockton, CA. 
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Lathrop Baptist Church, 
850 J. Street, Lathrop, CA 95330.
