Dorothy S. Taylor 
Aug. 4, 1910 - Sept. 10, 2004



Dorothy S. Taylor, 94, of Stockton, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2004 
in a local hospital. Born on August 4, 1910, in Dos Palos, CA. She was an 
Elementary School Teacher for 20 years with the Lodi Unified School District. 
Dorothy was a member and very active in Central Methodist Church and the United 
Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred R. Taylor and 
son John F. Taylor. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Dorion (Richard) 
Eichenberger of Stockton, Jay Taylor of Fairoaks, and Carolyn (Don) Shepley of 
VA. Grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 8. Sister of Bee Iverson of 
Salinas, CA and sister in law of Viola Stocking of Tracy, CA. 
Friends are invited to attend services on Thursday, September 16, 2004, at 11 
a.m. in the Fireside Room at Central United Methodist Church, 3700 Pacific 
Avenue, Stockton. Rev. David Bennett officiating. Max Carroll at Cherokee 
Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Committal at Central United 
Methodist Church Columbarium. Memorial contributions to the CRTA Scholorship 
Fund, c/o Joan Franco, 9336 Trenton Way, Stockton, CA 95212 are preferred.
