Larry P. Galvan
Oct. 19, 1938 - June 24, 2004

Larry P. Galvan, 65, was born on October 19, 1938. A loving husband and father, 
he passed away Thursday, June 24, 2004. Larry was born in Hanford, CA, the only 
son of Ygnacio and Bernice Galvan. Larry attended Corcoran High School. After 
graduating, he served his country honorably in the Air Force, 1956-1960. Larry 
returned home to start a family and is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, 
Florence Galvan; his children, Larry Galvan Jr., Yvette DeLeon, Carla Galvan 
and Ricky Galvan; sister, Gina Escalante of Visalia, CA and five grandchildren.
Larry enjoyed a 35-year career with the United States Postal Services as a 
Logistic Coordinator. Larry enjoyed bowling, playing horseshoes and being 
around his family and friends. The many people he touched throughout his life 
will miss Larry.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 30, 1:00-4:30 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Funeral 
Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at 
Evergreen Chapel, Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy. 99 and E. Harney Lane, Lodi. 
Church Services: Thursday, July 1, 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 
3847 N. Sutter St., Stockton, CA.
