Audon A. Martinez 
November 12, 1923 - July 3, 2004



Audon A. Martinez, 80, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2004. He was born 
November 12, 1923 in Mexico - GTO. Audon worked for the Sante Fe Railroad for 
34 years before retiring as a machine operator. He enjoyed gardening. 
Audon is survived by his beloved wife, Celia R. Martinez of Stockton. Loving 
father of Celia Martinez, Emelda Ramirez, Audon Martinez Jr., Hilda Martinez, 
Arturo R. Martinez, all of Stockton. Dear brother of Antonio Martinez of 
Stockton. Devoted grandfather of seven grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. 
A Vigil Service will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California 
Street, on Thursday, July 8, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will 
be celebrated at St. Edward's Church, 731 S. Cardinal, on Friday, July 9, 2004, 
10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at the Chapel on Wednesday, July 7, 2004, 
and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. 
Committal: Rural Cemetery.
