Born January 16, 1940. He was a Hostler for Union Pacific Railroad and last worked at Ceres Unified School District at Westport School before retirement. He attended schools in Stockton, graduating in 1957 from Stockton College High School, then attended Delta College. Mr. Flores served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1963. He was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. He had lived in Stockton prior to moving to Modesto. He coached Girl's Softball for many years in Ceres. He enjoyed landscaping, sports, old movies, music, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Survived by wife, Linda Scudder Flores of Ceres; children, Angela Duarte Smith of Turlock, Sarah Flores, Kimberlee Flores, and Jennifer Flores, all of Ceres, and John Medel of Stockton; sisters, Ramona Lopez and Juanita Bojorquez, both of Stockton; and 3 grandchildren. Visitation: Thursday, September 16, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Ceres Chapel Franklin & Downs. Rosary: Thursday, September 16, at 5:00 p.m. at Ceres Chapel Franklin & Downs. Mass: Friday, September 17, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jude's Catholic Church. Burial: Ceres Memorial Park.
