Melitta A. Sivell 
Nov. 5, 1918 - Sept. 12, 2004

Mrs. Melitta A. Sivell of Lodi passed away Sunday, September 12, 2004 at her 
residence at the age of 85. Mrs. Sivell was born November 5, 1918 in 
Strassburg, North Dakota to John and Fredricka Fandrich. Mrs. Sivell worked as 
a hostess at Weinstock's Dept. Store Restaurant for 10 years. She was a long 
time member and Sunday School Teacher at the Lodi First Baptist Church, and a 
Pink Lady volunteer at Lodi Community Hospital. She enjoyed singing with the 
church choir, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and 
friends. She will be best remembered as a loving and devoted mother and 
grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her son, Robert Alan Sivell and wife Cherie of Linden; 1 
granddaughter, Shannon Sivell-Cross of Portland, Oregon; 4 brothers, Emil 
Fandrich of North Dakota; Alvin Fandrich of Redding, John Fandrich and Reuben 
Fandrich both of Lodi. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Sam Fandrich, 
Arthur Fandrich, 2 sisters, Eleanor Bischel and Blondina Kruger.
A Graveside Service will be held Monday September 20, 2004, 10:00 am at the 
Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lodi Funeral Home.

St. Lodi, CA 95240
