Mr. Perry was born in San Jose, CA on January 18, 1912 to Henry and Mamie Perry. He waas raised in this area, marrying Alice Pettengill on June 30, 1938. They moved to Lockeford in 1947. He was an electrical engineer for over 50 years, retireing from Diamond Walnuts. He was a member of the followng organizations; Stockton Astronomy Club, Native Plant Society, Past President of San Joaquin County Historical Society, Woodbridge Masonic Lodge #131, Woodbridge Eastern Star, Lodi and Stockton Gem & Mineral Club, and Photographic Society of America as well as other local camera clubs. He was also a leader in the 4-H Club for children in the area of electicity. A well- known photographer, he exhibited many of his pictures, especially of wildflowers, to many local clubs. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Alice Perry, of Lockeford; daughter, Gail Parris, of Sacramento; grandchildren, Floyd Perry, of Stockton, Candice Perry, of Stockton, Sheldon Perry, of Oregon, Alyssa Parris, of Washington and Marcus Parris of New York; niece, Valerie Goforth and family, of Stockton. Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his son, Floyd Emmett Perry in 2004. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 p.m., at Harmony Grove Cemetery, in Lockeford with the Woodbridge Masonic Lodge #131 officiating. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., coninuing Monday from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., at Lodi Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to San Joaquin Historical Society, P.O. Box 30, Lodi, CA 95241-9915 or Harmony Grove Church Fund, San Joaquin Parks & Recreation, 11793 N.
