Thelma E. Reece 
Jan. 24, 1918 - Sept. 18, 2004



  Thelma E. Reece, 86, of Stockton, entered into rest Sept. 18, 2004, at a 
local residential facility after an illness. She was born on January 24, 1918 
in Dorchester, Grayson County, Grayson, Texas, to Arthur W. and Ella V. McLain. 
Mrs. Reece was a retired interior decorator and was the owner operator of 
Reece's Interiors in Stockton for over 20 years. She was a kind and 
compassionate woman who cherished spending time with her family and friends. 
She was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Stockton Baptist Church.
Mrs. Reece is survived by two children, her son, Ronald A. Reece and wife 
Connie of Cypress, Texas; and her daughter, Janet K. Titus and husband Michael 
of Stockton; a sister, Joyce Duckett of Denison, TX; seven grandchildren and 
eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Robert Arnold Reece, and 
sons, Kenneth A. Reece and Ellis W. Brown; also preceded in death by four 
sisters and two brothers.
Friends are invited to join the family at a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 
p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. 
California Street, Stockton, CA. Visitations will be on Tuesday, from 11:00 
a.m. until the time of the service. Committal and interment will follow at 
Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 at Harney Lane in Lodi, CA.
To honor her memory, contributions may be made to Stockton Baptist Church 
Building Fund, 5480 N. Highway 99, Stockton, 
CA 95212.
