Zachary Taylor Yeager 
Oct. 10, 1985 - Sept. 19, 2004



Mr. Zachary Taylor Yeager, of Lockeford, passed away unexpectedly Sunday 
September 19, 2004, in a Sacramento hospital at the age of 18. Mr. Yeager was 
born October 10, 1985, in Lodi. Zachary worked as a grocery clerk for Payless 
Grocery Store in Copperopolis; he also had worked for the Lockeford Hay-Station 
within the past two years. He was a member of St. Joaquim's Catholic Church, 
and a volunteer Fire Fighter for the Mokelumne Fire District. He was an avid 
outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, wake-boarding, running, 
weight-training and spending time with his family and friends. He will be 
greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Todd and Kim Yeager, of Lockeford; 4 brothers, 
Joshua Yeager, of Minden, Texas, Cory Yeager, of Lodi, Chad Sprugeon, of Lodi, 
Zac Estrada, of Lockeford; 2 sisters, Jenna Karuza and Karissa Estrada, both of 
Lockeford; grandparents, JoAnn Yeager, of Lockeford, Ed and Harriet Alameda, of 
Martinez and numerous aunts and uncles. He is also survived by a loving 
companion, Heather Forrest, of Lodi. He was preceded in death by his 
grandfather Carroll Yeager in 2000.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday, September 23, 2004, 10:00 a.m., at the 
St. Joaquim's Catholic Church in Lockeford, followed by interment at the St. 
Joaquim's Cemetery, in Lockeford. A vigil service will be held Wednesday, 7:00 
p.m., at the Lodi Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 12:00 - 8:00 
p.m. at the Lodi Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to the St. Joaquim's 
Catholic Church, P.O. Box 323 Lockeford, CA 95237, or the Kiwanis Family House 
of UC Davis Med. Ctr., 2201 48th St., Sacramento, CA 95817. A virtual register
