Ronato, Sr. Sept. 21, 1976 - Sept. 19, 2004 Steve Villa Ronato, Sr., 27, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Stockton, CA after a brief illness. Steve was the first son of Sammy and Modesta Ronato. Steve is survived by his two devoted children, Sabrina, 8, and Steve Jr., 4, and their mother, Sally Aguilar. Steve Sr. left this earth at the same hospital where he was born. His father Sammy preceded him in death. Steve attended Edison High School and was completing his G.E.D. at the time of his death. Steve was a handyman and could fix anything from the most complicated machinery to the everyday needs of a household. His entertainment was taking something apart and putting it back together. He is also survived by his grandmother, Elena Villa; mother, Modesta Ronato; brother, Kevin Ronato; sisters, Anna Ronato Esquer and Yolanda Ronato Loehra, all of Stockton, CA and brother, David Ronato of Carson City, Nevada. The family is deeply appreciative for all the love and kindness received from Steve's extended family and many friends. This outpouring will provide direction and the future focus of Sabrina and Steve, Jr. A Rosary will be recited at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, Sunday, September 26, 2004, at 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. George's Catholic Church, 120 W. 5th St., Stockton, CA on Monday, September 27, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 26, from noon to 4:00 p.m. and Monday, September 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
