He was born on June 22, 1924 in Michoacan, Mexico. He enjoyed fishing with his friends and his interests were listening and watching baseball. He was an outdoor person. He loved gardening and was very proud of the results. Also he enjoyed his trips to Mexico to see his family and he loved to dance. Pancho had a very kind heart and helped anyone who needed anything. He was a beautiful person and will be truly missed. Survived by lifelong companion, Carolyn C. Valdivia; daughter, Lisa C. Valdivia; grandchildren, David Sean, Kristina, Shyla Solis, Armando, Juliana and Cassandra Valadez; brother, Ramon and nieces and nephews in Compton, CA and Michoacan, Mexico; step sons Antonio, Johnny, and Manuel Valdivia; step daughters, Elena Valdivia, Carmen Palacios and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Francisco enjoyed his music. Music was his life. He played the trumpet with Mariachi Los Guilgeros and Mariachi de Modesto. Services: A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 23, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 731 S. Cardinal Ave., Stockton.
