Sakhan Tan 
June 28, 1915 - September 20, 2004 

Sakhan Tan, 89, has gone from this world and returned home to Heaven with the 
Lord Jesus Christ on Monday morning September 20, 2004 in a Stockton Hospital. 
She was born in Battambang Province in Cambodia and has lived in Stockton for 
22 years. Sakhan was a homemaker who enjoyed worshiping and serving the Lord. 
She was a very giving person and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church 
in Stockton. Beloved wife of the late, Mr. Chhoeun Chhoeup. Loving mother of 
Koson Mil and husband Kim Leang Mil of Stockton, CA, Laisieng Chhun of Hayward, 
CA, Lady Chhun and wife Chanthoeun Ong of Modesto, CA, John Chhun and wife 
Cindy Hay of Hayward, CA, Sieng Thang Chhun and wife Thira Oum of Union City, 
CA, Siengdy Chhun and husband Van Thang Ong of Stockton, CA. A great blessing, 
grandmother of 16 grandchildren. Dear sister of Hout Khum of Chicago, IL, Sa 
Khoeun Tan and husband Keng Lim of Australia. Friends are invited for 
visitation on Thursday, September 23, 2004 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 
Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi, CA and to a Funeral 
Service on Friday, September 24, 2004, in the Evergreen Chapel of Cherokee 
Memorial Park, Hwy 99 & Harney Ln., Lodi, CA at 10:00 a.m. Interment will 
follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.
