James G. Payton, 63, born June 11, 1941, passed away on September 16, 2004, in 
a local hospital due to a short illness. 
Jim is survived by his long-time partner, Scott Benesh; mother, Amelia Morris; 
brothers, Keith, Kevin, and David; sister, Christine and Wendy and their 
families. Preceded in death by father, James Payton and brother, Richard. 
Services will be held October 2, 2004, 10:00 a.m., at St. Marks United 
Methodist Church: 306 Clay Street in Stockton. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to I.S.J.D.E. at P.O. Box 692262, 
Stockton, CA 95269.
