Donald M. Wheeler
Aug. 11, 1948 — Sept. 24, 2004

A memorial service will be Tuesday for longtime Tracy resident Donald M. 
Wheeler, 56, who died Friday at Stanford Medical Center in Stanford.
Born in Southern California, Mr. Wheeler lived in Spokane, Wash., before moving 
to Tracy 19 years ago.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Wheeler served in the Vietnam War and Operation Desert 
Storm with the Seabees.
Mr. Wheeler is survived by his wife, Gay Wheeler of Tracy; his daughter, 
Michele Johnson, and her husband, Tim, of Post Falls, Idaho; his son, Brian 
Wheeler, and his wife, Melinda, of Tracy; his mother, Margaret Wheeler of 
Tracy; his brother, Ronald Wheeler of Tracy; and two grandchildren, Ashley 
Wheeler of Tracy and Hunter Johnson of Post Falls, Idaho.
Tuesday’s service will begin at 11 a.m. at Sequoia Heights Baptist Church, 1050 
S. Union Road, in Manteca. Interment will take place at a later date at San 
Joaquin National Cemetery in Gustine.
Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, is handling arrangements.
