Andrew Gallegos, Sr.
September 20, 1939 - June 28, 2004 



Andrew Gallegos, Sr., 64, pass- ed away of an illness on June 28, 2004 in 
Bakersfield. Born on Sept. 20, 1939 in Stockton, the son of Gustavo and Rosa 
Gallegos. He was a store mana-ger and resided in Bakersfield, CA. He was a U.S. 
Army veteran. 
Mr. Gallegos is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rachel Gallegos of 
Bakersfield; three sons, Andrew "Andy" Gallegos, Ray Varela and John Varela; 
and two daughters, Andrea and Delores Varela; two brothers and two sisters; 
seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by other loving 
relatives and friends.
Friends are invited to attend visitations from 2 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, July 
8, 2004, at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California Street in 
Stockton, where a Rosary will be recited at 7 PM on Thursday. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 AM on Friday, July 9th at St. George's 
Catholic Church, 120 W. Fifth Street in Stockton, followed by the committal 
services and interment at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, Harding Way at 
Cemetery Lane in Stockton.
