Lola G. Parlier (Madill) passed away on Monday, September 13, at her home 
in Baker City, Oregon. She was born on December 21, 1919, in French Camp, 
California and resided in Stockton until January of this year. She was a 
graduate of Manteca High School and the College of the Pacific. She taught 
kindergarten at Jefferson and Fillmore Schools. She was a life-time member of 
Beta Sigma Phi. She belonged to many social and civic groups, including 
Philamatheon Club and Stockton Garden Club. She was a member of Grace Methodist 
Church. Her life-long interests included gardening, music, bridge and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Dale Parlier, and her 
good friend, Ed Grant. She is survived by her brother, Mike Madill and sister, 
Rita Simms, of Anchorage, Alaska; her daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Philip 
Burroughs, of Baker City, Oregon, her son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Donna 
Parlier, of Corvallis, Montana, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, at Grace 
Methodist Church in Stockton. She is interred with her husband at Park View 
Cemetery in French Camp.
