James Thomas Melton, 69, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2004. He was 
born March 27, 1935 in Kentucky. James was a Handyman for over 35 years. He 
served in the U.S. Air Force. James is preceded in death by his wife, Burleen 
Melton, daughter, Tracy Melton and brothers, Junior Melton, Bobby Melton, and 
Donny Johnson. Beloved father of Sharon Whiteley, Karen Melton and Kevin 
Melton. Brother of Betty Sullivan, Frank Melton, Charles Melton, Larry Laing, 
William Laing, Terry Johnson, Joe Melton, Billy Melton. Grandfather of Valerie 
and Ricky Espinosa, Marqueisa Harris, J.R. McKee, Lewis and Lisa Dozier, Randa 
and Charlotte Bullard, Darren Silva, Nicole and Bobby Jean Carter, John M. 
Melton, Amanda and Thomas Melton. Great grandfather of Lewis Espinosa, Joseph 
Demaderios III, April LePage, Marrisa Lopez, Calvin R. Bullard Jr., Jason W. 
Byers Jr. He will be deeply missed by children, grandchildren and family. 
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. 
at Farmington Memorial Cemetery, 5225 Escalon Bellota Road, Farmington, CA 
95230. No visitation. Committal: Farmington Memorial Cemetery, Farmington, 
California.
