Paul Dobbins 
Jan. 14, 1916 - Sept. 26, 2004



Paul Dobbins, 88, a native of Jewel City, KS, passed away on Sunday, September 
26, 2004 at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, CA. Paul was born on 
January 14, 1916, and was a veteran of the Army Air Corps having served in 
World War II. He was a retired Inspector for the Trans Continental Freight 
Bureau and a long time member of the Toastmaster's in Salinas and in Stockton. 
He was a published Author of 4 mystery novels.
He is survived by 1 step son, George Ragsdale of Prunedale; 1 daughter, Joanie 
(John) Arnold of Pacific Grove; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. 
Preceded in death by his wife, Renee Dobbins, a step daughter, Betty Curtis, a 
son-in-law, Norman Curtis, 2 brothers, Charles and Jack Dobbins and a sister, 
Ruth Agostini. 
Visitation will be held at Healey Mortuary on Wednesday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. 
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at 
Garden of Memories Mausoleum Chapel, 768 Abbott St., Salinas, CA, 93901. Burial 
will take place in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Salinas, CA. Arrangements 
by Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas, CA 93905.
