Paul was born on January 14, 1916, and was a veteran of the Army Air Corps having served in World War II. He was a retired Inspector for the Trans Continental Freight Bureau and a long time member of the Toastmaster's in Salinas and in Stockton. He was a published Author of 4 mystery novels. He is survived by 1 step son, George Ragsdale of Prunedale; 1 daughter, Joanie (John) Arnold of Pacific Grove; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Renee Dobbins, a step daughter, Betty Curtis, a son-in-law, Norman Curtis, 2 brothers, Charles and Jack Dobbins and a sister, Ruth Agostini. Visitation will be held at Healey Mortuary on Wednesday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at Garden of Memories Mausoleum Chapel, 768 Abbott St., Salinas, CA, 93901.
