Ruth Mauldin 

Dec. 29, 1929 - Sept. 30, 2004



Ruth Mauldin, 74, of Linden, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2004, at a 
local hospital. Ruth lived in Hayward, CA for 39 years, and moved to Linden, CA 
four years ago. She was born December 29, 1929, in Marlow, OK to Glenn Thomas 
Raborn and Anna Neva Dunn.
Ruth was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, 
reading, crossword puzzles and traveling in her motorhome. Some of her favorite 
places included Laughlin and the Delta, as well as, visiting family and friends 
in Texas and Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Orval Mauldin of Linden; daughters 
Cassandra Barby and Tracy Mauldin-Avery, both of Pleasanton, CA; son-in-laws, 
Jim Barby and Scott Avery also of Pleasanton; brother, Tommy Raborn of Magalia, 
CA; sister Carol Aspesi of Santa Cruz, CA; half-sister Rhea Lovell of Houston, 
TX; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Kristen Barby, and Madison and Noah Avery, 
all of Pleasanton along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at First Baptist 
Church of Linden, 17850 E. Hwy 26, Linden, CA on Tuesday, October 4, 2004, at 
1:00 p.m. Graveyard Service will be held immediately following the service at 
the Linden Cemetery.
