Lenore J. Berg 
October 6, 1925 - October 3, 2004



Lenore J. Berg, 78, longtime Stockton resident passed away on Sunday, October 
3, 2004, after a lengthy illness. Beloved wife of Stockton native, Harold Berg. 
She was preceded in death by daughter, Joan Berg to whom she was devoted. 
Loving mother of Bruce Berg; mother-in-law of Barbara Berg; grandmother of Adam 
and Andrew Berg. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, October 6, 1925, raised in Los 
Angeles. She attended UCLA and UC Berkeley. She was active in Phi Sigma Sigma 
sorority as well as Sisterhood of Temple Israel, Hadassah, Junior Aid of 
Stockton, and St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary. 
She and her friends started Paper World and she worked in the family business, 
Berg's Clothiers. She was devoted to family and friends. 
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral services at 
Temple Israel, 5105 N. El Dorado, Stockton, at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, 
October 6, 2004, which would have been her birthday. No visitation. Committal 
at Temple Israel Cemetery. 
Memorial contributions can be made to Temple Israel, 5105 N. El Dorado, 
Stockton.
