Thomas E. Mountjoy 
Sept. 9, 1930 - Sept. 29, 2004



  Thomas E. Mountjoy, age 74, of Stockton, CA, fell asleep in death at home on 
Wednesday, September 29, 2004. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas, September 9, 
1930. He graduated from Bell Gardens High School, Los Angeles, CA, in 1948. He 
lived in Stockton for 37 years after moving here from Los Angeles in 1967. 
He was a roofer and roofing contractor for over 30 years. His true love was his 
faith and his family. In his lifetime he spent thousands of volunteer hours as 
a minister, teaching and helping others draw close to our Creator. He is fondly 
remembered for his laugh and jovial personality. He will be greatly missed by 
his family and friends. He is survived by brothers, Frank Mountjoy of 
Baltimore, MD; Art Mountjoy of Stockton, CA; sisters, Fleda Puck of Topeka, KS; 
Ruth Becker of New Mexico. Tom was the beloved father of, Steve Mountjoy of 
Stockton, CA; Tom Mountjoy of Springfield, MO; David Orosco of Maui, HI; Daniel 
Orosco of Stockton, CA; and daughter, Renee Kjelaas of Stockton, CA; 13 
grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. 
Friends and relatives are invited to join our family in remembering him in a 
Memorial Service on October 9, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of 
Jehovah's Witnesses, 8968 Thornton Rd., Stockton, California.
