Joyce Anne Simpson 
May 23, 1943 - October 4, 2004



  Joyce Anne Simpson, 61, was born on May 23, 1943, in Port-land, Oregon. She 
went to join her companion, Larry Davis of 15 years on Monday, October 4, 2004. 
She was the youngest daughter of Chester Krentz and Jewell Walling Krentz and 
the sister of Dolly Peden of Stayton, Oregon and Jerry Hooper of Salem, Oregon 
who has preceded her in death.
Joyce is survived by her three children, Donna and Steven Lawson of Madera, CA, 
Roberta Herevia of Madera, CA and Randy and Brandy Simpson of Stockton, CA and 
had been blessed with 6 grandchildren, Grace and Stephanie Lawson, Ruben 
Herevia, and Krista, Tori and Randy Simpson and many nephews, nieces and 
friends. Although she was small in stature, she was a very big person in heart 
and could instantly brighten any room. She loved a good laugh, practical joke 
and being the life of the party. Playing Bingo or going to Jackson Rancheria 
were her favorite hobbies and would often ask to go. She lived with Randy and 
Brandy and her babies, as she would call them, in the last years of her 
illness. We would like to thank Courtney Smith for being a wonderful caregiver 
at the end stages of our mom's life. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Family and friends are invited to attend Graveside Services at Cherokee 
Memorial Park, Lodi, on Friday, October 8, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. Cherokee Memorial 
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
