Rev. Henry Roger Varela 
October 20, 1928 - October 2, 2004



  Rev. Henry Roger Varela, 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 2, 
2004 at his home. Rev. Varela served with The Lake view Assembly of God Church 
in Stockton for over 14 years. He was a graduate of the Latin American Bible 
Institute. 
Loving son of Luz Varela; beloved husband of Josie Varela; father of Roger 
Varela, Dina Placencia, Yolanda Benjamin; brother of Raul, Yolanda, Dora, 
Leopoldo; grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 7. Rev. Varela is preceded 
in death by his father, Leopoldo Varela. 
An Evening Service will be held at Lakeview Assembly, 2111 Quail Lakes Drive, 
Stockton, CA, 95207 on Thursday, October 7, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral 
Service will be held at Lakeview Assembly, on Friday, October 8, 2004, 10:00 
a.m. Visitation will be held at Lake view Assembly, Wednesday, October 6, 2004, 
from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Committal: Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 & Harney 
Lane, Lodi, CA.
