Milton (Mel) Byrd Waller, Sr. 
June 28, 1934 - October 6, 2004



Milton (Mel) Byrd Waller, Sr., 70, passed away in Stockton, CA on Wednesday, 
October 6, 2004. Born June 28, 1934 in Holtville, CA, and he lived in Stockton 
for the last 36 years. Mr. Waller was a certified Prosthetist and former 
partner and owner of Stockton Orthopedic Company, Inc. He retired in 1989. Mr. 
Waller, Mel to his family and friends, raised and raced horses which was his 
passion. 
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sally; his daughter, Elizabeth Ann 
(Annie) Waller and his granddaughter, Alexandra (Alex) Cantaloupi. Also 
survived by his sisters, Margaret White of Stockton, Brenda (Joy) Hix and her 
husband Henry who live in Tuolumne. Also sister-in-law, Linda Bird and her 
husband, John who live in Fresno. Also survived by many loving nieces and 
nephews and friends. Mr. Waller was preceded in death by his only son, Milton 
Jr., father and mother, Henry and Bonnie Waller of Riverbank, sisters, Bonnie 
Beck of Stockton, Lorena McSkimming of Hayward and Henrietta Evans of Manteca. 
Greatly missed by his family pets, Molly and Mazie. 
At Mr. Waller's request, no services or memorials will be held.
Alternative Burial & Cremation Services are handling the arrangements. 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
