Warren Edward Farnam, Jr. 
Jan. 3, 1931 - Oct. 6, 2004


Ed Farnam, born in Oklahoma City on January 3rd, 1931 to Warren Edward and 
Caroline Buckeridge Farnam, passed away at the age of 73 after a short illness 
on October 6th, 2004, with his wife and children by his side. A respected 
banker, Ed spent his fifty year career throughout Northern California with over 
thirty years at Wells Fargo Bank. His last nine years were with the Bank of 
Stockton. He was a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. 
Ed is survived by his wife of 46 years, Phoebe; his sons, Robert and his wife 
Amparo, Edward and his wife Sarah, Michael and his wife Cristy; his daughter 
Caroline Farnam Franco and her husband Nicholas; his grandchildren Andrew, 
Kevin and Colleen Farnam and Julia and Camille Franco. He is also survived by 
his brother Robert; his mother Caroline; his brother-in-law Robert Dohrmann and 
his wife Barbara; his niece Jennifer Dohrmann; his nephew Robert J. Dohrmann. 
Ed was a loyal family man and a wonderful husband and father. An avid 
fisherman, he made what was his final annual trip to his and Phoebe's beloved 
High Sierra in August with family and friends. 
Ed never retired, preferring to work with his friends and travel with his wife.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday, October 14, 2004, 
at 10:30 a.m. in the Morris Chapel at the University of the Pacific in Stockton 
with a reception immediately following.. 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to 
the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust at 1550 E. Shaw Avenue, 
Fresno, CA 93710 or to an organization of the donor's choice.
