Ernestine (Tina) Dolores Lea Cohen passed from this life on September 25, 2004, 
in Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised in Stockton, CA, Tina is survived by her 
beloved husband, Alexander Cohen; and her loving daughters, Devana Cohen, of 
Los Angeles, CA. and Cynthia Martinez of Salt Lake City, UT; her loving son, 
Tom DeMartini of San Francisco, CA.; her dear grandchildren, Darcie Wheeler, 
Deloni Ash and DeAnne Martinez; her loving great-grandchildren; Devan and 
Daysia Ash, all of Salt Lake City, UT; her dear and loving sisters, Pauline 
Lucas, Eleanor Gonzales, and Marty Melendez of Stockton, Margaret Estrada of 
Daly City, CA, Gloria Esquivil of Fresno, CA, and Connie Lopez of Los Angeles, 
CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Tina was special to everyone and will be 
greatly missed.
Tina attended local schools and graduated from Edison High School. She was 
employed at Cal Cedar in Stockton. She worked at General Telephone in Los 
Angeles for thirty years and then retired. She enjoyed reading non-fiction, 
cooking, and tennis. She was a writer and artist. She loved cats.
Funeral Services were held in Los Angeles on Friday, October 1, 2004. 
Remembrances may be made to The Delta Humane Society and SPCA, 4590 S. State 
Route 99 West Frontage Road, Stockton, CA 95215 or to a favorite charity of 
your choice
