Nola M. Kampplain Olsen 
Feb. 11, 1914 -Oct. 5, 2004



Nola M. Kampplain Olsen, 90, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2004, in the El 
Camino Care Center in Carmichael, CA. She resided at this facility since July 
of 2003. Nola was born February 11, 1914, in Wetumka, OK to Thomas Richard 
Kampplain and Edna Elverine Florence. Nola was a practical nurse in San 
Francisco for many years before she moved to Middletown, CA where she married 
Carl Olsen. She and Carl had a beautiful home with a large garden where she 
loved to work. After Carl died she moved to Stockton. After an injury a year 
and half ago, she moved to Sacramento to be closer to her great nephew, Curtiss 
Bryant and his family. She is also survived by a half brother, Richard 
Kampplain and nieces and nephews, Reba Sennett, Beno Bryant, Clyde Crawford, 
Hilda Hammock, Louise Louducka, Mona Jean Ross, Emaline Richardson, Maxine 
Sanders and John L. Kampplain. 
Graveside services will be held Monday, at 11:00 a.m. in the Lodi Memorial 
Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Gierhart-
Wells & Donahue Funeral Home.
