Christina Marie Lang 
July 10, 1921 - October 12, 2004



  Christina Marie Lang, 83 of Stockton, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 
2004, at a local skilled care center of natural causes. She was born on July 
10, 1921, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, the daughter of Adam and Anna Cherney. 
Mrs. Lang was retired after 20 years of service as a sales clerk for Sears 
Roebuck. She was a remarkable woman who had passion for life. She was an avid 
traveler and gardener. Her tenacious sprit compelled her to be daring and 
adventurous; she was always ready for new challenges, such as playing soccer at 
age 60 and going white water rafting in Alaska at age 70. She was kind and 
compassionate and enjoyed the company of her beloved family.
Mrs. Lang is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Lang of Fremont; two grandsons, 
Brennen Terrill of Tokyo, Japan and Eric Terrill of Fremont, and other loving 
relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lang 
in 2002.
Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service at 3 p.m. on 
Friday, October 15, 2004, at Merrill Gardens at Carson Oaks, 6725 Inglewood 
Avenue in Stockton. Interment will be private. To honor her memory, 
contributions may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Avenue, 
Stockton, CA 95204.
