Gabriel Flores 
March 5, 1925 - October 10, 2004



Native Stocktonian, Gabriel Flores, 79, died Sunday, October 10, 2004 in his 
Los Angeles home. He was born to the late Cruz and Perfecto P. Flores, Sr., 
March 5, 1925. A Navy World War II veteran, he returned home and trained to be 
a barber. Gabriel was a Barbershop owner for over 45 years before retiring and 
devoting his time between church and his family. While retired, Gabriel devoted 
countless hours to St. Vincent DePaul Church and religious prayer groups, made 
visits to the sick and was a church usher. He will be deeply missed by his 
family, friends and church family.
Gabriel is preceded in death by his loving wife, Isidra Flores; his sisters, 
Margaret Rodriguez and Vera Munoz; his twin brother, Eacebio; his brother, 
Frank; sister, Eleanor and brother, Robert Flores. Gabriel leaves behind his 
beloved brothers, Perfecto P. Flores, Jr. and Ray Flores, Sr., both of Stockton 
and a host of over 75 nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary Service, Thursday, October 
14, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., 
Stockton, CA 95202. Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at St. 
Gertrude's Church, 1663 E. Main Street, Stockton. Visitation: Thursday, October 
14, 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. 
Committal, San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, Harding way and Cemetery Lane, 
Stockton.
