Born October 22, 1935 in Arizona, he moved to California with his family as a young man, before settling in Lodi in 1968. Mr. Bone retired from the Stockton Unified School District Corporation Yard after 25 years of service. As a member of the community he attended church at Lodi Fairmont Seventh-Day Adventist. He also enjoyed being an award winning member of The Lions Club of Stockton helping raise money for The City of Hope Children's Hospital or cancer research in Southern California, donating his time at the Blind Center of Stockton with their Annual Omelette Breakfasts and numerous other fund raisers. His hobbies included gardening, arts and crafts and helping family and friends where and whenever needed. He never passed up a good garage sale. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy Bone; 2 daughters, Glenda (Michael) Hughes of Stockton, Terry (William) Mauch of Lodi; 4 grandchildren, Michelle Mauch of Lodi, Sandra (Chris) Steele of Stockton, Jordan Mauch of Lodi, Melissa Hughes of Stockton; 1 great-grandson, Justin Steele; 2 sisters, Audrey (David) Fry of Stockton, Dorthy (Jack) Henton of Woodland and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Bone. We have lost a devoted Husband, and Father who will be missed by all, but Heaven has gained an Angel. The Family is requesting no flowers be sent due to there being no viewing or memorial services.
