Calvin L. Ames 
April 7, 1953 - July 4, 2004



Calvin L. Ames, 51 of Stockton, CA, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2004. He was 
born April 7, 1953 in French Camp, CA. He attended Edison Senior High School 
and worked for The Steel Company as a Lift Driver. 
He leaves to cherish one son, Anthony Ames of Stockton, his daughters, Cheron 
Ames, Angie Ames, and Irika Ames all of Stockton, and Yolanda Ames of Merced, 
CA. Sister, Frances Wesson, Virginia Sormar, Brenda Brown, Ruthie Scott, May 
Comfort, Flora Ceasar, Missionary Mae - Helen Gandy, all of Stockton, and 
Shirley McNealy of Elk Grove, CA. He also leaves a host of grandchildren, 
nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 12, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh 
Baptist Church in Stockton. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 11, from 12:00 
noon to 5:00 p.m. Committal at Stockton Rural Cemetery. Cooley's Funeral Home 
in charge of arrangements.
