David Paul Hunt 

August 11, 1955 - July 3, 2004



David Paul Hunt, 48 of Stockton, CA passed away at his residence on Saturday, 
July 3, 2004 after a short illness. He was born August 11, 1955 in Evansville, 
IN and grew up there and Merrillville, IN. David received his education from 
Ivy Tech. and later Purdue University. He was an electrical engineer and worked 
for U.S. Steel in Gary, IN and Inland Steel in Chicago before moving to 
Fremont, CA in 1992 where he worked for Feralloy Corp. He moved to Stockton, CA 
with the Company in 1995. He was a member of the Stockton Chamber of Commerce 
and enjoyed playing guitar, golfing, gardening and fishing. 
He is survived by wife; Patti Hunt of Stockton; 4 children, John Paul & Emiley 
Joy Hunt of Crown Point, IN, Shawn Michael Thompson of Chico, CA and Rachael 
Marie Thompson of Stockton, CA; father and stepmother, Claude and Marilyn Hunt 
of Evansville, IN; mother, Jeri Westerfield of Daytona Beach, FL and 2 
brothers, Gary and Steve Hunt of Daytona Beach, FL; grandparents, Margaret & 
Charlie Dobbs of Daytona Beach, FL. 
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the 
Stockton Covenant Church 1720 Oxford Way, Stockton, CA. Following cremation, 
David's remains will be scattered at sea off the California Coast, Carmel, CA. 
Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, Lodi, is in charge of arrangements.
